DESCRIPTION:\nTo celebrate the International Museum Day on 18/5/2022, Da Nang Museum has collaborated with Danang Architecture University to host the “VUON KHOI” (To The Sea) art exhibition to memorize and spread the historic values, as well as the traditional culture and the unique characters of fishing villages in Da Nang city.\n\n\n\nThe program consists of two main parts:\n\n\n\nThe “Vuon Khoi” art exhibition introduces and presents 02 books, 15 drawings, and 20 sketches. In detail:\n\n\n\nIntroduce two books about fishing villages: “Da Nang – Mai dinh lang bien” (Da Nang – The fishing villages and its communal houses) and “Hoi ky lang chai” (Memoir of the fishing village)Artworks about the villages and fishermen in their daily life.Opening time: 08h30, on 20/5/2022Location: Da Nang Museum, 24 Tran Phu street, Da Nang city.\n\n\n\nThe “Nguoi truyen lua – Ngu nghiep xua va nay” (The Inspiration – The fishing industry then and now) talk and the practice of making fishing nets\n\n\n\nThe fishermen as speakers well tell us stories about traditional businesses then and now of the villages, the changes and their impacts on fisherman life at present. The contest is about fishermen’s lives.The dancing contest “Vu dieu luot song” (Dance with the wave) on Tiktok.The new and exciting activities, interactive games according to the subject “Vuon khoi” for the public to join such as The “Thong thuyen” (Ship connecting) game, the “Xep thuyen” (Ship arranging) game, etc, are open throughout the exhibition time from 20/5 to 22/5/2022.Coming to “VUON KHOI”, we will have the chance to HEAR touching stories about the bond between humans and the sea, to LOOK at the fishing village architecture then and now, as well as fishermen and their lives through the books, the works about fishing villages.
