Traditional Boat Racing VTV8 CUP

The traditional boat race on the Han River held annually to celebrate the August Revolution and National Day (September 2) is an outstanding cultural and sporting activity, becoming a spiritual dish that attracts many city residents and tourists.

552 male and female athletes from 24 boat teams will participate, including 18 male boat teams and 6 female boat teams, competing in the following events: Women’s boat at a distance of 3 laps in pairs, equivalent to 4.5km; Men’s boat at a distance of 5 laps in pairs, equivalent to 7.5km; Traditional wooden boat.
