ABOUT MANULIFE DANANG INTERTIONAL MARATHON
Danang city welcomes you to run Manulife Danang International Marathon 2021, with 5 distances: Full Marathon (42.195km), Half Marathon (21.0975km), 10km, 5km and Ronny Dash (1.5km). The marathon is the first professional Marathon in Vietnam certified by IAAF – AIMS (International Association of Athletics Federations and Association of International Marathons and Distance Races). This race is also in the list of Abbott WMM Wanda Age Group World Rankings, 2nd edition.
CERTIFIED AND BEAUTIFUL RACE COURSE
According to the review of Rad Season Magazine (USA), Manulife Danang International Marathon is ranked 3rd among the 6 must-try marathons in Asia. The race starts at Bien Dong Park in the early morning and takes runners across the famous iconic bridges of Da Nang, where they can enjoy the beautiful sunrise. The running experience of watching the glorious sun coming up from the coast line is one of the things that I can rarely have anywhere else but Danang. With the professional organization, the beauty of Danang, the marathon will bring all runners the exciting running of lifetime and challenging goals of conquering the bridges and beating the Vietnam Central’s heat.
DANANG – AN IDEAL SPORT TOURISM DESTINATION
Beside the nice route, the beachside city is well known as a tourism spot for its sightseeings, foodie’s paradise and the people among the friendliest in Asia. Danang’s coastline stretches 30 kilometers, renowned for pristine beautiful beaches with white sand, crystal-clear blue. According to US Forbes Magazine, Da Nang is selected as one of the 6 most beautiful beaches in the world by its idyllic beach with smooth sand and a gentle slope. There are many places to visit around Danang:
- Son Tra peninsula (10km from the North).
- Hoi An ancient town – UNESCO World Heritage Site (30km away).
- Ba Na Hill – the mountain resort with the world famous Golden Bridge.
- The charming and peaceful city – Hue, the Imperial of Nguyen Kingdom (2-hour away by car).
