Thailand – Laos and Vietnam Bus Route Is Going To Open To Promote Tourism

The newspaper site of Laos reports that the bus route is being promoted to connect tourist destinations in Nakhon Phanom (Thailand) – Thakhek (Laos) – Ha Tinh (Vietnam).

According to Laotiantimes.com, the authorities of Thailand are actively promoting the opening of bus routes across the borders of Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam. It is expected that this 300km route will connect tourist attractions in Nakhon Phanom (Thailand) – Thakhek (Laos) – Ha Tinh (Vietnam).

The three localities above are all rated as attractive to tourists with destinations of indigenous culture and art, as well as buildings, temples, religious sites, and natural attractions such as waterfalls or mountains. In the tourist route, Ha Tinh is a position of strength due to owning a lot of the beautiful beaches.

Thailand’s party requests Laos’s party to host the second meeting of the Tripartite Working Group as soon as possible in order to discuss the model service and set the official conditions for the cross-border bus route.

According to the Bangkok Post, Nakhon Phanom and Thakhek are the lively exchange areas between Laos and Thailand, along with Nong Khai, Chiang Khong, and Ubon Ratchathani. At some point, there are full of crowds and vehicles at some border gates as soon as Laos and Thailand loosened Covid-19 restrictions from the beginning of June.
