Vietjet Opens Flights Between Da Nang (Vietnam) And 5 Indian Cities

This year marks the 50th year of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and India. To celebrate this special remark as well as to promote Da Nang city, Vietjet will launch new routes from Da Nang to 5 major cities of India, including New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad. The first flights will be operating by this year, with around 4 to 7 flights per week from India to Danang. Currently, before launching these new routes, visitors from India to Vietnam usually take flights from New Delhi or Mumbai to the two major cities in Vietnam, Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh city.

By introducing the new flight routes connecting India and two coastal cities of Vietnam, Vietjet aims to promote Da Nang city to India as well as other countries. According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son, Vietjet Vice President: “ Vietjet strongly believes that the new flights which are announced today will create more opportunities, promote the economic and also impulse trade and business investment between major cities in Vietnam as well as regional destinations.” Vietjet Air also announced that they would connect Phu Quoc to New Delhi and Mumbai airports by September this year.

Da Nang city is home to a myriad of wonderful attractions such as the Marble mountains, the Da Nang Museum of Cham sculpture, The Golden Bridge, Dragon Bridge, the Lady Buddha statue with outstanding views, spectacular hill stations and stunning beaches. What makes these tourist sites more charming and glorious is their long history and legend. If you are an Indian, and you are planning a trip to Danang this year, you will have the chance to experience the first flights of India-Danang routes operating by the third quarter of 2022.

Besides, Vietjet air also updates its plan to open more flights to promote Vietnam’s tourism globally.
