In an effort to enhance its appeal, attract more visitors, and encourage longer stays with deeper cultural experiences, Da Nang has introduced a policy granting free admission to Marble Mountains (Ngũ Hành Sơn) and various museums and cultural landmarks across the city.
One of the key sites benefiting from this initiative is the new Da Nang Museum, located at 42 – 44 Bạch Đằng and 31 Trần Phú. As per the new policy, admission fees will be waived throughout 2025, until new pricing regulations are established. This unique cultural and historical destination is expected to officially open to the public by the end of March 2025.
In addition to the Da Nang Museum, the Da Nang People’s Council has approved a resolution allowing free entry to the following sites on three significant dates in 2025:
- Marble Mountains (Ngũ Hành Sơn) Scenic Area
- Da Nang Fine Arts Museum
- Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture
The designated free admission days are:
- March 29 – Da Nang Liberation Day
- April 7 – Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day
- September 2 – National Day
This resolution officially takes effect from March 3, 2025.
As a highlight of Da Nang’s 2025 tourism stimulus program, this initiative is expected to boost visitor interest, increase domestic and international arrivals, and contribute to the city’s tourism growth targets. By offering free access to these iconic attractions, Da Nang aims to reinforce its image as a friendly and hospitable destination, further strengthening its tourism brand. Additionally, this initiative aligns with the 50th-anniversary celebrations of Da Nang’s liberation and other major events throughout 2025, ensuring widespread engagement and international recognition.
