From June 2024, Asia Park will officially change its brand name to Da Nang Downtown, to become the most attractive shopping and entertainment complex in the center city of Han River.
New look, new vibes
Changing the entire brand identity, including logo, signs, and brand name to Da Nang Downtown, Asia Park will “transform” spectacularly this summer with completely new shopping and entertainment experiences, especially in the evening.
Da Nang Downtown’s brand identity is designed with youthful, modern, pop art style colors, reminiscent of famous entertainment paradises in the world such as Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Sao Paulo, or the rise of Hollywood in the mid-20th century.
“We believe that with a new brand identity and unique experiences, Da Nang Downtown will help visitors go from one surprise to another and have a memorable summer in the coastal city of Da Nang. In particular, evening experiences and shows will contribute to helping Da Nang’s night tourism increase its impression on tourists, turning Da Nang into a sleepless destination,” said Ms. Phung Pham Thanh Thuy, the director of Da Nang Downtown.
“New entertainment district” of Da Nang
In addition to iconic experiences like the Sun Wheel, one of the top 10 tallest wheels in the world, miniature models of Asian tourism icons, and 18 adventure games, Da Nang Downtown will introduce exciting new attractions for the first time this summer. This will transform the area into a vibrant “entertainment district” from day to night, with the slogan “New Riverside District with Lively Market.”
In June 2024, this world-class international art show complex will be presented for the first time in Da Nang. This top art show, “Symphony of River,” features a new type of fireworks performance unprecedented in Vietnam. The Ầu Ơ Puppet Theater in Da Nang will showcase puppet shows imbued with cultural nuances, and there will be performances stirring the streets with fun all day, turning Da Nang Downtown into a sleepless town and the most bustling and vibrant nightlife center in the Central region. It is expected that Symphony of River will take place at Da Nang Downtown with two shows during the day and at night, starting from June 10.
Besides its modern vibe, Da Nang Downtown still retains a rich traditional atmosphere with the show “Vietnamese Puppet,” set to debut on June 1 at the brand-new Ầu Ơ Theater in Da Nang, which has a capacity of 600 seats. The show vividly guides the audience into the beauty of Vietnam’s land and people through the rich, symbolic artistic language of Land Puppetry and Water Puppetry.
The heart of Da Nang Downtown is the Vui Phet Da Nang Night Market (VUI-Fest), the brand-new nighttime entertainment and tourist center in the coastal city. Vui Phet Night Market offers a vibrant shopping, culinary, and entertainment experience for domestic and foreign tourists alike. With 200 colorful stalls offering Asian and European cuisines, regional delicacies, handmade souvenirs, and unique street animation shows, it promises an unforgettable experience like no other.
This marks a spectacular transformation of Asia Park into the new brand Da Nang Downtown, set to ignite the center of Da Nang this summer. Da Nang Downtown will open its new entrance at 2/9 Street (29/3 Square) and will offer free admission to all visitors.
