Da Nang has officially launched Auto Guide, an innovative AI-powered automatic commentary system designed to enhance the city’s signature cyclo tours. This new technology allows visitors to enjoy a leisurely ride through the streets of Da Nang while listening to vivid storytelling about the city’s landmarks.

When booking a cyclo tour, each guest is provided with an Auto Guide device that supports more than 15 languages, including Vietnamese, English, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese, along with personal earphones for the journey.

Thanks to GPS technology, the device automatically activates the narration whenever the cyclo passes major attractions such as APEC Park, Dragon Bridge, the Han River, Han Bridge, Han Market, Da Nang Museum, and the Da Nang Cathedral. Beyond the narration, the device is also integrated with an AI Chatbot, enabling travelers to interact and explore further information about each destination.

From now until September 30, visitors can use the Auto Guide service free of charge when booking a cyclo tour. Operated by the Da Nang Cyclo Tourism Team—established in 2003 and currently managed by the city’s Tourism Promotion Center—the service maintains a fleet of 83 uniform cyclos. Each vehicle is equipped with stainless-steel frames, cushioned seats, and distinctive red canopies, all kept in excellent condition.

The cyclo drivers are professionally trained in foreign languages, traffic regulations, and cultural knowledge, and regularly participate in skill development courses to ensure high-quality service for international and domestic travelers alike.

The integration of Auto Guide is expected to significantly enhance the experience of discovering Da Nang, offering tourists a more engaging and convenient way to connect with the city’s vibrant history, culture, and modern charm.
