Art & Culture Exhibition: “Kiều Kiều Giai Nhân” (Kiều Reimagined)

From August 23 to September 21, 2025, Đà Nẵng Tui – a dynamic community of young art enthusiasts in Da Nang – proudly presents “Kiều Kiều Giai Nhân”, an immersive cultural and artistic exhibition at Xi-Nê Bistro & Jazz (82 Trần Phú, Da Nang). Supported by the British Council Vietnam under the Connections Through Culture 2025 fund, alongside sponsorship from Samsung The Frame and Samsung Galaxy Tab, and venue partnership from Xi-Nê Bistro & Jazz, the exhibition aims to tell Vietnamese cultural stories through the lens of creativity and contemporary artistry.

Drawing inspiration from the Diversity and Inclusion theme of the Connections Through Culture 2025 fund, “Kiều Kiều Giai Nhân” explores the roles and values of Vietnamese women across history, with a particular focus on the feudal-era women immortalised in Nguyễn Du’s literary masterpiece The Tale of Kiều. Visitors embark on a three-part journey – Tài (Talent), Mệnh (Fate), and Tâm (Heart) – before stepping into an additional space that reflects on the evolving role of women in modern society.

This year’s edition offers not only fresh thematic perspectives but also heightened visitor engagement through diverse artistic mediums and hands-on activities. Over 30 works of art in 20 different forms will be showcased – spanning traditional and contemporary mediums such as installation art, augmented reality (AR), video games, kinetic sculpture, lenticular art, traditional painting, silk painting, and innovative fusions of technology with traditional crafts.

Complementing the displays, more than 10 free interactive experiences will be available to all visitors, including agarwood workshops, Go (cờ vây) workshops, watercolor painting, Kiều fortune-telling, Kiều poetry recitation, and woodblock printing – enriching the exhibition with vibrant layers of cultural engagement.

After months of meticulous preparation, “Kiều Kiều Giai Nhân” is set to unveil a dreamscape where poetic verses echo across generations and timeless portraits of women speak of talent, destiny, and heart – inviting contemplation on their enduring place in today’s world.
