The 180km bike course is where you’ll truly fall in love with Da Nang. Cruise along the stunning Vo Nguyen Giap coastline with endless ocean views, power across the impressive Thuan Phuoc Bridge, and experience the peaceful contrast of Vietnam’s emerald paddy fields. The two-loop format means you’ll master the course on your first lap and fly through the second.
Your final 42.195km run takes you on four energizing loops along the beachfront, where passionate local crowds create an electric atmosphere. The familiar out-and-back course keeps you motivated while coastal breezes and ocean views make every step memorable.

Swim Course
The 3.8km swim of the 2026 IRONMAN Viet Nam in Da Nang will feature a rolling start at Bien Dong Park, following a triangle-shaped swim course going clockwise, with two red buoys marking the two turning points. Athletes will complete two consecutive laps before heading back to the beach, leading directly into the beachfront transition area.
Bike Course
The 180km bike course at the 2026 IRONMAN Viet Nam in Da Nang takes athletes on a spectacular journey through Vietnam’s most beautiful coastal scenery. Starting from Bien Dong Park, riders head north along the stunning Vo Nguyen Giap – Hoang Sa coastline before crossing the impressive Man Quang and Thuan Phuoc Bridges.
The course features a smooth 11km seaside section along Nguyen Tat Thanh, where athletes enjoy uninterrupted ocean views and refreshing coastal breezes. After completing this stretch, the route continues along the eastern bank of the Han River, offering breathtaking views of Da Nang’s iconic skyline and waterfront.
The journey then extends toward Cam Le Bridge and onto Thang Long Street, where athletes are treated to serene views of beautiful rice paddies and tranquil countryside scenery. After reaching the turnaround point, athletes head back, crossing the scenic Tien Sa Bridge before turning onto Truong Sa Street and heading in the direction of Hoi An. Following another scenic turnaround point, they return past the transition area to begin their second 90km loop, completing the full 180km distance.

Run Course
The 42.195km run at the 2026 IRONMAN Viet Nam in Da Nang takes athletes on four scenic loops along Da Nang’s stunning coastline. Starting from the beautiful Bien Dong Park, runners head out on Vo Nguyen Giap Road, running parallel to the pristine beach with ocean views throughout.
Each 10.5km loop features a simple out-and-back route to the turnaround point at the 5.4km mark, allowing athletes to settle into their rhythm while enjoying the coastal scenery. The familiar course layout helps runners focus on their pacing and performance as they complete each loop.
With enthusiastic spectators and family members cheering along the beachfront, the atmosphere is electric as athletes make their way back and forth along this spectacular stretch of coastline. Aid stations every 1.1-1.3km ensure runners stay well-hydrated and fueled.
The race culminates with a memorable finish at Bien Dong Park, where athletes complete their IRONMAN journey against the backdrop of Da Nang’s beautiful coastline.
