“Just Be” Yin & Nidra with Emma
Join Emma at this special monthly event, focused on your wellbeing and self-care. Nurture your body, mind and spirit through a mindful Yin practice, followed by a deep guided relaxation session (Yoga Nidra).
Feeling tired or burned-out, stressed or agitated? This grounding practice will bring you back into your body, helping you release anxious thoughts and find your center again.
What’s involved:
● Soothing Yin Yoga: Works with your connective tissue (fascia) to improve flexibility, ease injuries and relieve tension/tightness. Poses are held for up to 5 minutes with a focus on surrendering, softening and letting go. Yin is wonderful for relaxing the mind, calming the nervous system and hormone balancing.
● Blissful Yoga Nidra: Also called ‘yogic sleep’, this ancient practice brings you deeper into your subconscious through a lying down guided meditation/visualization. The benefits of Nidra are different for everyone but include better sleep, increased motivation and mental clarity.
● Closing Circle: A safe space to share your experience with the group – although speaking up is optional! And finally, enjoy a cup of Ayurvedic tea.

About Emma
I’ve been teaching Vinyasa, Hatha and Yin Yoga for 3 years in Hoi An – and I’ve recently qualified as a Prenatal Yoga and Mindfulness for Childbirth teacher. All my classes include pranayama (breath work) and meditation to help students bring more mindfulness to their yoga practice – on and off the mat. My sequences are slow but challenging; asking you to find stillness and comfort in whatever pose you’re in, using the breath to soften and release.
My aim for students is to practice with more awareness, so they can connect deeper with their breath, body and mind, and heal from within.
