From July 13-14, a low-pressure area is likely to form in the East Sea, potentially intensifying into a tropical depression. Currently, the tropical convergence zone is active, causing adverse weather conditions in the Central East Sea. This development may lead to strong southwest winds and rough seas, particularly from Khanh Hoa to Ca Mau and the Central and Southern East Sea, including the Paracel and Spratly Islands.
Heavy Rain in North and Central Regions
From July 14-16, North and Central Central Vietnam are expected to experience widespread moderate to heavy rainfall. These regions may see scattered thunderstorms, with localized areas experiencing very heavy rain. Following this, from July 17-18, scattered showers and thunderstorms are anticipated in the same areas.
Weather Conditions in Other Regions
The South Central region will experience scattered showers and thunderstorms with localized heavy rain from the night of July 14-17. Meanwhile, the Central Highlands and Southern Vietnam will continue to see showers and scattered thunderstorms, particularly in the late afternoon and evening. There is a potential for tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts during these storms, especially in the Central Highlands from the evening of July 14-15.
