MICHELIN Guide 2025 Is Set to Take Place on June 5th at InterContinental Danang

The official unveiling of the MICHELIN Guide 2025 for Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Danang will take place on Thursday, June 5th, at the prestigious InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort, located along the pristine coastline of one of Vietnam’s most vibrant cities Da Nang.

This exclusive, invitation-only event will welcome an array of distinguished guests from the culinary world, including chefs, restaurateurs, hospitality managers, culinary experts, key partners of the MICHELIN Guide, and both local and international media. The event aims to celebrate the richness of Vietnam’s gastronomy while fostering collaboration and inspiration within the country’s culinary community.

For 2025, the MICHELIN Guide selection for Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Danang will include:

  • MICHELIN Guide Special Awards
  • MICHELIN Guide Selected Restaurants
  • Bib Gourmand Awards — recognizing establishments offering exceptional food at moderate prices (to be announced via a separate press release one week prior to the main event)
  • And the most anticipated recognition: the MICHELIN Stars

All restaurants included in the MICHELIN Guide are rigorously evaluated and rated by anonymous MICHELIN inspectors according to five globally consistent criteria:

  1. Quality of ingredients
  2. Mastery of cooking techniques
  3. Harmony of flavors
  4. The chef’s unique personality reflected in the cuisine
  5. Consistency over time and across the entire menu

These standards ensure fairness and uphold international benchmarks in every destination the MICHELIN Guide covers.

Following the announcement ceremony, guests will be treated to an exclusive high-end cocktail reception. The culinary experience will be curated by MICHELIN-starred restaurants and MICHELIN-selected establishments from both Vietnam and abroad, offering a rare opportunity to savor unforgettable and world-class cuisine in an intimate setting.

Several award-winning representatives from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Danang who were honored in the MICHELIN Guide 2024 will be present, alongside special guest chefs from across the region, offering a diverse culinary showcase:
