Aviation Industry Leaders Unite in Danang to Re-establish the Regional Airline Network

Taking place from the 6 to the 8 of June 2022 in Danang city, Vietnam, the Routes Asia 2022 event is where policymakers and providers in the aviation industry gather to outline plans for accelerating the recovery process of regional aviation.

Routes Asia 18th is held with the attendance of Presidents/Vice Presidents and leaders planning the route network from over 80 leading airlines in the region. In the event, there will be more than 1.500 meetings between parties related to airlines, airports, and destinations.
The meetings will focus on how parties can collaborate to recover the network, bringing long-term economic value to the Asia-Pacific region. The crucial members from participated airlines are:

– The Head of Flight Planning Department from Air New Zealand airline
– The Head of Flight Planning Department from AirAsia airline
– The Director of Enterprise Planning Section from Bamboo Airways airline

– The Director of Route Network Management from Cebu Air Pacific
– The Vice President of Go First Air
– The Vice President of planning and operating flights from IndiGo
– The Assistant Director of Marketing and Enterprise Planning from Japan Airlines
– The Director of Networking, Schedule, and Collaborate from Jetstar
– The Head of Route Network and Policy Department from Malindo Air
– The Senior Manager of Flight Planning from MIAT Mongolian Airlines
– The Chief Commercial Officer from Myanmar Airways
– The Senior Vice President of Planning and Route Network Union from Oman Air
– The Vice President of Route Network Planning from Philippine Airlines
– The Senior Manager of Route Network Planning from Qantas
– The Head of Route Network Planning from Scoot
– The Director of Strategy, Commercial Strategy, Internation, and Planning from VietJet Air
– The Director of Marketing and Enterprise Planning from ZIPAIR Tokyo
– The leaders from more than 20 flagship airlines in China including Air China, China Eastern, China Southern, and Hainan Airlines, will also take part in the meeting virtually due to the country’s current restrictions.

Routes Asia 2022 also brings together over 25 speakers from trade associations, board of directors from airlines, airports, and government ministries, to provide greater than 15 hours of talks and seminars to brainstorm the plans.
The topics that will be discussed at the event consist of the impact of COVID-19 on consumer behavior, travel trends, and effective strategies to recover the market need.

– Tara Naidu, the Commercial Director in Strategy, Planning, and International of VietJet air
– Purnima Nerurkar, the CEO of WR Commerce, Strategy and Planning of Air India Limited
