On the 6 of June 2022 at Novotel Danang Premier Han River hotel, the Tourism Department of Danang city and Sun Group corporation collaborated to hold a press conference announcing the Enjoy Danang Summer Festival 2022 series.
Taking place from the 11 of June 2022 to the 15 of August 2022 with many festivals and large events, the series promises to make Danang a vibrant place this summer.
With the three main topics: Enjoy Danang Festival & Music, Enjoy Danang Beach, and Enjoy Danang Delicacy, the series will bring a festive-like atmosphere to the city through world-class shows, epic carnivals, and big night concerts, culinary activities, and impressive art works.
The first topic, Enjoy Danang Festival & Music, will replenish the city with such active and exciting air by many festivities like the “Take me to the Sun” concert, the music venues on Han river banks, street dance in An Thuong night street, My An night beach, DanaBeach club, the “The Battle of the Moon Kingdom – Tran chien o Vuong quoc Mat Trang” show in Sun World Ba Na Hills, the performances of DJs, pop singers, actors, and street magicians,…
Next to it is the refreshing spirit from Enjoy Danang Beach and its events like the art of beach organizing, the Miss Yoga contest, the Vietnam – Japan festival, many side activities like the Cosplay Contest, the cultural exchange program, Vietnam – Japan arts, and about 70 food – culture stands.
Last but not least from the topics, in early July, the Enjoy Danang Delicacy will bring the traditional cuisine and imported beers to Bien Dong Park with diverse dishes from Middle Vietnam, and the meet with the runner-up of the Masterchef 2015 contest through “My Quang” socializing. Alongside it, there is the B’estival 2022 at Sun World Ba Na Hills with carnivals, German beers, treats, beer tastings, the “Vua Bia” (king of beer) contest, food tours, and street foods all over the place.
The focus of the series is the ”Take me to the Sun” event, which starts with the street Carnaval Sun Fest on weekends from the 25 of June to the 24 of July 2022. This year, it will pleasure your eyes with the performance of 10 model cars on various topics: The ocean world, Cham museum, the Dragon Bridge, the Grand Cascade, the Time Gate, kettledrums, the Golden Bridge,… and light shows from Tran Thi Ly bridge to the Golden Bridge by hundred of domestic and international actors.
And the heart of “Take me to the Sun” is the big concert that will take place on Saturday night, the 9 of July. With a scale of 10.000 guests, featuring many popular singers from contemporary folk to EMD, pop, rock, hip-hop, and fireworks near the Sun Wheel, the concert will make your night.
Furthermore in August 2022, the international EDM festival in Asia Park will take tourists to a lively and exciting music space with the attendance of many renowned domestic and international DJs.
The “The Battle of the Moon Kingdom – Tran chien o Vuong quoc Mat Trang” show and B’estival 2022 have already started on the 30 of April and are well received by the public.
The “The Battle of the Moon Kingdom – Tran chien o Vuong quoc Mat Trang” show is played by 160 artists, 90 of them are international and come from Argentina, Cuba, Brazil, Ukraine, Colombia, Uzbekistan… and 70 are Vietnamese kung fu masters and athletic students. The show is likened to “the 5 stars-rated art feast” by the audience.
The Enjoy Danang Summer Festival 2022 will be a remix of vivid colors, shaky dances, and jubilant festivities. This is considered one of the milestones of the recovery in the tourism industry after more than two years of being reticent due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
