On November 30, the Chinese cruise ship Zhao Shang Yi Dun (CM-Viking China Coastal Cruises) brought more than 700 tourists to Tien Sa Port to visit Da Nang. Tien Sa Port Border Guard Station has implemented quick immigration procedures, creating all conditions for passengers to get off the cruise ship to visit the city. After getting off the cruise ship, tourists take transit vehicles to visit the Cham Museum of Sculpture, Han Market, Ngu Hanh Son Mountain, Non Nuoc Stone Village, Vincom Shopping Mall, Linh Ung Pagoda, and so on.
To ensure the safety of tourists during the visit, the Department of Tourism of Da Nang has sent an official dispatch to relevant units requesting the assurance of a tourist environment, security, and safety during the time of picking up cruise ship tourists and the pick-up process, serving cruise ships bringing international tourists to Da Nang. They also have to strictly implement regulations on picking up and dropping off guests, ensure security and order, and carry out anti-following, and solicitation of customers.
After this port visit, the Zhao Shang Yi Dun cruise ship is expected to have 10 more trips to Tien Sa port to bring tourists to Da Nang city in late 2023 and early 2024 with about 7000 tourists.
Previously, in early November 2023, Da Nang also continuously welcomed many cruise ships from countries around the world such as the Resorts World One cruise ship and the Silver Whisper ship docking at the port, bringing thousands of tourists to visit Da Nang.
