Tigerair Taiwan launched route between Taoyuan and Da Nang in central Vietnam on Dec. 24, 2022 as part of the company’s efforts to boost its presence in the Southeast Asian region.
The launch of the Taoyuan-Da Nang route marks the carrier’s first foray into the fast-growing Vietnam market, Tigerair Taiwan said in a statement.
In the initial stage, Tigerair Taiwan flies a round-way trip between the two destinations every Wednesday and Saturday, the statement said.

Tigerair Taiwan, a joint venture between Taipei-based China Airlines and Budget Aviation Holdings, is the sole low-cost carrier headquartered in Taiwan.
It operates a fleet of 15 aircraft, including four A320neos, mainly serving flights to Japan, South Korean, Macau, Philippines, Thailand Viet Nam and other destinations in Asia, providing a rich and diverse selection for visitors.
