From March 8 to March 10, the Quan The Am festival will take place at the Quan The Am Pagoda, located on the foot of the Marble Mountains in Da Nang city. This is an important event for the local people and attracts a large number of tourists.
Quan The Am Pagoda is known for its ancient and unique architecture, featuring many intricate details and sculptures. It is also considered a spiritual site for locals, as it is dedicated to Guan Yin, the goddess of compassion.
During the festival, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in various religious and cultural activities, such as offering incense and flowers to Guan Yin, attending traditional music performances, and enjoying vegetarian food.
One of the highlights of the festival is the procession of Guan Yin’s statue, which is carried from the pagoda to the nearby Thuy Son Mountain. The procession is accompanied by drum and trumpet music, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere.
