The esteemed culinary platform Taste Atlas, renowned as the “World Food Map,” has recently unveiled its selection of the 100 finest dishes in Vietnam, offering an exciting array of culinary experiences for international travelers. Leading this prestigious list is Quang-style noodles (Mì Quảng).

According to Taste Atlas, Quang-style noodles epitomize the culinary heritage of Quang Nam Province. This dish is often the first that visitors think of upon arriving in the Quang Nam – Da Nang region. Quang-style noodles are characterized by their soft, long strands of noodle served with a flavorful meat broth and a variety of aromatic herbs.

Patrons can enjoy Quang-style noodles with a choice of ingredients such as shrimp, chicken, pork belly, or eggs. To further enhance the dish’s flavor, it is commonly accompanied by peanuts and rice crackers.

Taste Atlas acknowledges that Quang-style noodles, originating from Central Vietnam, significantly contribute to the gastronomic reputation of the Quang Nam region and are a cherished favorite among tourists.

In addition to Quang-style noodles, Taste Atlas’s list of the top 100 Vietnamese dishes features other notable entries such as bánh mì thịt (Vietnamese pork sandwich), bún bò Nam Bộ (Southern-style beef noodle salad), phở bò (beef pho), and bún bò Huế (Hue-style beef noodle soup).
