Thai Vietjet, the operator with most flights between Thailand and Vietnam, has informed that the international air service linking the capital city of Thailan (Bangkok) and the central beach city of Vietnam (Da Nang) will be resumed from March 27th 2022.
Accordingly, the Bangkok-Danang air route will be re-opened with three flights a week on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. The time for a flight is around 1 hour and 40 minutes. Moreover, based on real market demand, further frequency can be increased later.
Thai Vietjet Chairwoman, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Binh, announced that the firm commits to contributing to the recovery of international travel in the soonest time. Currently, the Bangkok-Ho Chi Minh City route operates up to 6 flights a week, which is the largest number of flights between Vietnam and Thailand. However, in the next development plan, Thai Vietjet is trying to boost the service connecting Bangkok with Danang and continue expanding this flight network to provide safe air services to millions of people in both countries. The air service linking Bangkok-Danang is the next tourism bridge between Thailand and Vietnam after the Bangkok-Ho Chi Minh City air route.
In addition, Thai Vietjet will open a new service, which connects Bangkok and Phnom Penh- the Cambodian capital in March. That means more destinations will be added to its flight map in the near future.
