In order to practically celebrate the anniversary of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day on November 11, with the aim of encouraging people to actively participate in the cause of preserving and promoting the value of national cultural heritage. They are also grateful to organizations and individuals who have donated artifacts to the Da Nang Museum of Fine Arts. Therefore, the Museum held a ceremony of Receiving and Displaying Donated Artifacts in 2022.
1. The ceremony to receive donated artifacts
Da Nang Museum of Fine Arts received donated artifacts including 259 artifacts, in that are 240 artifacts of folk paintings collected by researchers and collectors, Nguyen Thi Thu Hoa, donated; 17 paintings donated by painter, Vu Trong Thuan; 02 artifacts of folk paintings donated by artisan, Nam Chi.
Artists, collectors, and artisans have treasured nearly 260 artifacts donated on this occasion for many years. So far, they have decided to donate them to the Da Nang Museum of Fine Arts to enrich the sources of materials and artifacts of the Museum.
2. Exhibition and introduction of donated artifacts 2022
In celebration of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day in 2022, Danang Fine Arts Museum selected to introduce to the public 61 artifacts including 49 out of 240 folk paintings donated by researcher and collector, Nguyen Thi Thu Hoa; 7 out of 17 works of artist Vu Trong Thuan, 02 folk paintings “Kim Hoan” by artist Nam Chi; 1 gold-plated bronze painting by People’s Artist, Tran Duy Mong; and a pair of the canopy by Vietnamese artist Hoang Ngoc Tuyen.
