Best time to visit Danang’s beaches
The best time to travel to Danang is during the dry season, from March to September. In these months, the weather is hot and humid, with temperatures hitting around 30 degrees C. The peak season is from June to August with a large number of public holidays.
The rain season, which starts from October to March, is when you should not travel to Danang. During this time, there is a lot of rain, sometimes typhoons, thunderstorms and even floods.
From January to March, the weather is more favorable, with the average temperature between 20 and 28 degrees Celsius.

Top beaches in Danang
My Khe beach
My Khe beach is a 32-mile stretch of white sand beach that is approximately 6 km east of Da Nang. The beach was made famous by movies and TV shows as a place where American soldiers of the Vietnam War enjoyed peace in Da Nang.
My Khe beach was also named one of the 6 most beautiful beaches in the world by Forbes Magazine. Hosting a number of high-class resorts and hotels, the beach is an idyllic spot for sunbathing, fishing, and a variety of water activities to enjoy during your stay.
From the beach, you can check out World Heritage Sites such as Hoi An Ancient Town, Phong Nha Caves, and Hue Imperial City. All of which are easily accessed via car or bus.

Non Nuoc beach
Located at the foot of Marble Mountains, Non Nuoc beach has crystal clear blue water and calm waves all year round. It is also regarded as one of the most stunning beaches in Vietnam. Bac My An beach

Son Tra beach
Son Tra peninsula is where you could discover some of Danang’s most hidden beaches like Tien Sa, Bai Bac and Con beach. Located about 8 km from the city center, it is home to the rare red-shanked doucs.
The beaches at the foot of mountains are beautiful, with clear blue water and calm waves. Besides relaxing and swimming, you can also go into the jungle or explore the beauty of the peninsula by riding a scooter around.

Lang Co Beach
Lang Co Beach is located between Truong Son Mountain and the Southern end of Hai Van Pass, spaning 10 km in length. It is one of the most hidden beaches in Danang as it is mostly visited by locals and Hai Van Pass’s travellers.
As a beautiful beach with white sand and blue water, Lang Co beach is named one of the best beaches in Vietnam. It is also where you can enjoy a day of relaxation with the breathtaking views of the mountains and take part in exciting activities like hiking, swimming,etc.

Nam O beach
Located approximately 17 km northwest from the city center, Nam O is a village of local people who make fish sauce. The beach here features environmental boat rides to minority villages of Hoa Bac and Hoa Bang and experience the lifestyle of locals.
Nam O beach is famous for its “Goi ca”, which is a seafood dish made by herring wrapped in rice paper, served with dipping sauce, fresh herbs and vegetables. You can find the dish in almost all the local restaurants surrounding the area.

Xuan Thieu beach
Taking only 20 minutes drive from Danang Airport, Xuan Thieu Beach has an impressive length which is about 15 km long leading to the foot of Hai Van pass. This historical beach was used as a US military area which stores facilities for military supplies.
Nowadays, it is one of the most remarkable destinations of Danang with a lot of beachfront resorts, seafood restaurants and bars. The beach is also called Red Beach because the reflection of the rising and setting sun turns the waters a vibrant crimson.

Thanh Binh beach
Thanh Binh Beach is the nearest beautiful beach to the city center. Therefore, it is a popular place for the locals to relax in the evenings or on weekends. Thanh Binh beach has a length of 1 km, which is home to several middle-class hotels and local seafood restaurants.
As with other beaches in Danang, you could have a wonderful time here with a variety of water activities like windsurfing, swimming, and yachting. There are also plenty of rental beach chairs where you can relax and sunbathe.
