Two direct flights from New Delhi and Mumbai to Da Nang operated by Vietjet Air will officially operate from October 18. Flights from Mumbai and New Delhi to Da Nang on October 18 and 19 were held to welcome them at the airport, combined with a street parade to promote the route and destination.
Flight VJ984 departing from Mumbai at 23:30 on October 17 will land in Da Nang at 06:10 on October 18, 2022. In the same flight time frame at 23:30, flight number VJ830 will depart from New Delhi on October 18 and land in Da Nang at 05:40 the next day. These are the first two flights marking an important milestone in connecting Da Nang.
The opening ceremony of new routes Da Nang – New Delhi and Da Nang – Mumbai (India) will be held at 15:00 on October 18, 2022, at Da Nang International Airport Departure Terminal with the attendance of the leaders of the City People’s Committee, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, departments, and airport authorities.
The parade by open-top car to celebrate the opening of the route, and also combine with filming the typical destinations of the city to promote the destination, is expected to be implemented by Vietjet Air on October 23. 2022.
