Da Nang – Which Place Can We Go Camping?

Da Nang is not just a place for resort tourists. It is also a great city for traveling and discovering new experiences. Camping is steadily gaining popularity, particularly among young people. After a long week at work, being one with nature and exploring new places is an experience worth considering.

Bãi Đá Đen – Son Tra Peninsula

On the Northern end of the Son Tra peninsula is a pristine rocky beach called Bai Da Den. The only way to get there is by automobile or car along Yet Kieu Street, which is around 12 kilometers from the city center. If you follow Google Maps directions, you may find it with ease.

Large black rocks make up Bai Da Den, and a lush meadow is placed above them. You can enjoy the peacefulness in this place. The waves are continually smashing on the shore, the sun is brilliant, and there is a salty ocean air while you lay on the grass.

Camping is perfect in this location. There will only be a lawn to run around on, a fantastic sea view to enjoy, and the greatest part is that this area is deserted and very secure. You can spend time with friends or family in your private place without worrying about being bothered.

Cầu Vòm Đồn Cả – Hai Van Pass

Cau Vom Don Ca is a railway track, the foot of the bridge has the shape of a dome and crosses a small stream, surrounded by majestic mountains and forests. It is because of the unique structure and special location that make this place a famous check-in place and frequented by young people for weekend picnics or overnight campfires.

A small concrete road that leads to Hai Van Bac station may be found on the right side of the road when you go down Hai Van Pass towards Lang Co – Hue and cross the Don Nhi Bridge after around 300 meters. Drive cautiously until you come to the overlapping railroad tracks on the narrow road. After leaving your bike at a parking spot near a forest, you must walk for about one kilometer before you can see the Cau Vom bridge, which is located in the direction of the train station.

You can decide to descend the steps to the river and pitch up your tent there. You can go swimming with buddies in the afternoon, and then come to the Cookout in the evening. Due to the fact that this is a passing train route, it can be a little noisy in the evening because the North-South trains do not stop here. However, resting by the stream in the valley in the center of the forest while taking in the sounds of singing birds is still worth a chance, isn’t it?

If you just want to do a short discovery trip, besides going down to the stream to check in the passing train scene, you can also go along the train line to find more interesting things. Walk about 2km from the Cầu Vòm bridge, you will find the super large shipwreck. Although it is not possible to get close, it is very interesting to check in from afar. In addition, the road is also very beautiful!

Ghềnh Bàng – Son Tra Peninsula

Ghenh Bang is located in Bai But, Son Tra Peninsula, Da Nang, about 20 kilometers northeast of the city center.

Ghenh Bang beach is still unspoiled and unexploited for tourism. To get here, you must walk about 1km through a forest to the sea. The road is not difficult, but be extremely careful because it is quite slick.

High cliffs and an extensive shoreline are property of Ghenh Bang. The best times to visit are in the autumn, when the woodland is slowly turning bright red and orange. Sea water is transparent enough to view the bottom, the waves are small, and there are many different species of sea moss with distinctive colors. You can visit Ghenh Bang to see and take in the colorful aquarium environment.

However, take precaution when diving, swimming, and among naughty langurs!

Hải Vân Quan

Hai Van Quan is adjacent to Da Nang and Thua Thien-Hue, on the summit of Hai Van Pass. That is no longer strange for the locals and the young people who enjoy camping here, this is a location that is no longer strange. From Hai Van Quan, you must take a short walk to the campsite, leave your car or bike for the night at one of the coffee shops, and then climb the concrete road that runs straight to the top.

The journey is not particularly challenging, but because of the slopes and the loads you are carrying, it will be rather exhausting. All the power you give, nevertheless, will be worthwhile once you arrive. There will be many suitable camping locations, but you can select the most comfortable one based on the number of campers. You can go to the lawn directly in front of the old blockhouse with a view of Lang Co – Hue and watch the sunset while taking in the surrounding scenery. You could even climb higher to explore the empty area that overlooks the Son Tra peninsula and Da Nang city. Furthermore, the grassy area on the pass’s edge is also in the center of a forest and shaded by a canopy of pine trees.

Lay out on the grass close to the pine forest, set up your tent, and wait for the sun to go down. The wind is blowing, the clouds are floating to the top of the hill, and you will enjoy the fresh, natural air. Alternatively, go to the forest with some friends to get some pinecones that have fallen. Campers can also hunt for the Milky Way or relax in their tents to view the moon on a cool summer night. Wake up early and wait for dawn to break on the opposite side of the ocean. This is going to be a genuinely unique experience.

Memories with friends are always the most wonderful and unforgettable things. Let’s plan a camping trip together to make a memorable summer! Enjoy Da Nang!
