“Being on a tropical excursion” was the first thing going through my mind when I put my timid steps into this space. It lends an air of mystery, wildness and liberation in a glimmering and low-light decor. The left side wall is adorned with gleaming bottles of booze signaling a drunken night full of memorable moments while the others shine with tropical-style decorations. I love the big painting on the right side wall. It reminds me of sleeping beauties in a floral forest being awakened by the hotness created when the passionate guests hit the lounge and chill out in a lush and vibrant setting.
Karma offers some upper private areas where you can enjoy your privacy but still have the view of the crowd downside and observe their mood. The designer must have been genuinely talented when sketching the idea that the vip section is perched on top of the wine shelf in the main bar. I prefer snapping up a table next to my lovely sleeping beauties, however, it comes as no surprise that the vip section will bring you a slice of pure paradise.
Unlike other night clubs, at Karma, there are no MCs, no singers or sexy dancers but devoted DJs, saxophone, violin…artists who will captivate the hearts of the guests by their great music performances. It is difficult not to notice the two statues of Egyptian dogs on the stage. The owner sees music as the soul of the lounge and the precious treasure that needs to be faithfully preserved. Settle in for a spirited concoction and prepare to be charmed by the music played here. The lounge accepts walk-ins for an indulgence but reservations are highly recommended.
Take your time with the colorful menu including some sets of wines, beers, teas, cocktails and mocktails. There is every texture and flavor you could be craving. If you are overwhelmed by the prose in the menu, ask the staff for some recommendations. They are warm and attentive in elegant suits, willing to serve and keep your refined beverage flowing no matter the hour. To add groove to your evening, share with your friends some laid-back shisha flavors while immersing yourselves in a colorful and sound party.
