Michelin Guide Da Nang 2025

In a landmark announcement held at the InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort, the MICHELIN Guide officially unveiled its 2025 restaurant selection for Vietnam, highlighting the cities of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang. This year’s guide affirms Vietnam’s growing reputation as a vibrant global culinary destination and Da Nang is proudly at the heart of this transformation.

A Remarkable Milestone for Da Nang

The 2025 MICHELIN Guide selection features a total of 181 restaurants across the three cities, including:
9 One MICHELIN Star restaurants (1 new, 1 promoted),
63 Bib Gourmand (9 new entries),
109 MICHELIN Selected establishments (14 new additions).

From this impressive roster, Da Nang is home to 7 featured restaurants, including 4 Bib Gourmand recipients and 3 MICHELIN Selected venues. These recognitions underscore the city’s rich culinary identity, where traditional Vietnamese flavors harmonize with modern techniques and local ingredients.

The Bib Gourmand designation celebrates restaurants offering high-quality food at moderate prices. Da Nang’s four new entries in this category represent a diverse array of beloved local flavors:

  • Bánh Xèo 76
A Da Nang institution known for its sizzling Vietnamese pancakes and grilled pork, cooked over a charcoal grill at the entrance. The menu also features corn rolls and grilled pork noodles, all rooted in local culinary tradition.
  • Bún Bò Huế Bà Thương
A household name among locals for more than five decades, this eatery delivers an authentic take on the iconic spicy beef noodle soup from Huế. The rich lemongrass-infused broth, tender beef, and fresh herbs make this a must-try experience.
  • Quê Xưa
With a warm, rustic interior adorned with straw chandeliers and traditional artwork, Quê Xưa offers an immersive dining atmosphere. The concise menu focuses on regional specialties like Mỳ Quảng and Bánh Thịt Heo, reflecting the heart of central Vietnamese cuisine.
  • Shamballa
A tranquil vegetarian retreat hidden behind an antique wooden door. Inside, Tibetan artifacts and serene ambiance set the stage for a thoughtfully curated menu grounded in Vietnamese flavors and plant-based techniques.

Beyond Stars and Bibs, the MICHELIN Guide also honors restaurants that exemplify culinary craftsmanship and quality. In 2025, three Da Nang establishments were newly recognized in the MICHELIN Selected category:

  • Bếp Cuốn
Celebrated for its vibrant presentation of fresh Vietnamese rolls, combining creativity with authentic tastes.
  • Bún Riêu Cua 39
Known for its hearty crab noodle soup, this humble spot serves a beloved dish rich in flavor and local character.
  • Mộc
A restaurant that pays homage to natural aesthetics and traditional Vietnamese cuisine, offering a warm and genuine dining experience in the heart of Da Nang.

As Da Nang earns its place on the global culinary map, this is a proud moment for the city and a tantalizing invitation for food lovers everywhere to discover the flavors that define Vietnam’s central coast.
